OBJECTIVE:
Uniquely present each service this Chick-fil-A provides in a fun and light-hearted way.
EXECUTION:
I started by planning when it would be best to record certain shots. Careful attention was put into not interfering with regular operations. This shoot was a fair balance of coaching subjects for clips that I had planned for in advance, and capturing naturally occurring interactions. The edit was a culmination of intentional sound effects, supporting text, and a simple soundtrack.
OBJECTIVE:
Create a professional, corporate-style promotional video that highlights the company's event presence and team-first culture in under one minute.
EXECUTION:
Identified the best footage and sound bites to move the storyline from the events to the passionate company environment. I incorporated audio enhancing features to best utilize speeches, and lined up the footage with specific moments in the audio. I Wrapped up with minor color correction and captions for an easy viewing experience.
OBJECTIVE:
Develop a five minute mini-documentary that sheds light on a certain group or issue that would otherwise not have the opportunity for attention. The goal was to introduce the dance community's primary demographic and why the involvement of younger individuals is crucial to the sport staying alive.
EXECUTION:
Interviewed four subjects, went to a dance competition, and filmed b-roll in the studio to have well-rounded footage. Various perspectives were provided as two UCWDC professionals and two college students share about their experiences.
OBJECTIVE:
Commemorate the Warriors' championship season with a cinematic recap of the state meet.
EXECUTION:
Collected scene setting shots of the environment, shot warmups, and analyzed the course layout in order to be in specific spots during the race. Additionally, I was positioned at the finish line in order to film the top runners completing the race. The trophy presentation and post-race interview were icing on the cake.
OBJECTIVE:
Promote the school's annual homecoming football game with a one minute video for social media.
EXECUTION:
Opened with an intense speech from the coach and switched to the obvious song choice, Kanye West's "Homecoming;" then I proceeded to fill the timeline with energetic game highlights and engaging fan shots to make it feel like a necessity to attend the game.
OBJECTIVE:
Showcase the new jersey combinations and offseason work that the team has been putting in for a hype video.
EXECUTION:
Filmed several practices, a weight room session, spring game, and a hype shoot. Introduced the video with the head coach's voice over, continuously mixing wide and close up shots. Kept a gradual build up until the beat drops and the video becomes an electric montage designed to pump up the players and fans for an awesome season.
